THE DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD FOR THE AMERICAN LEGION DEPARTMENT OF PENNSYLVANIA IS PRESENTED BY THE ST. MARYS AMERICAN LEGION POST 103 TO THE LETTERS FROM HOME PROGRAM. AS STATED IN THEIR PRESENTATION, "This organization is, without a doubt, the finest and most exhilarating morale builder of any program for our military personnel serving overseas". Letters from Home is an organization who is truly dedicated to the high ideals of the American Legion, i.e., "For God, For Country, For the Care and Concern of Our Military Personnel". Our recipient has demonstrated this commitment to these ideals by giving unselfishly of their time, their talents, and their energy in making our communities and our Nation - a better World.
